  • Students for Students (Leerlingen voor Leerlingen) is a project that’s take advantage of the instruction skills from students.  Students produce video’s including a single instruction, on a specific topic. Younger students use these video’s to learning more easy.  To manage these video’s (more than 1.700 in 2014) we need to develop a portal. The tool we use for this project is MediaMosa.
     
    The team that is developing  this portal includes the next people:

  • ROC Westerschelde in Terneuzen are very happy to be able to link MediaMosa to the new state-of -the-art open source e-learning and collaboration platform Chamilo 2.0. In this project we wil be working together with the Chamilo Association and Inuits.

  • The final report for the project MediaMosa Cutter can be downloaded here. The document also contains a manual for the installation and configuration of the modules needed for this tool.

  • The current recommended MediaMosa version is 3.2.0 (build 1840). The following is available for download:

  • The MediaMosa software development kit contains a collection of modules and classes used for creating Drupal websites supporting MediaMosa.

    The MediaMosa connector enables Drupal modules to communicate with the MediaMosa REST interface.

  • The Content Supplier Application (CSA) is an easy to use Drupal 6 module to upload, transcode, publish, maintain MediaMosa video conents and share them between different client applications.

    As a MediaMosa owner you can create a main client application. This client application will be visible for the end users. With the CSA you can easily and safely allow others to publish their videos on your main site.

  • MediaMosa itself is a video backend application. It means it works hidden, and the users usually don't see this software. If you want a Youtube like video application, you need a video frontend. MediaMosa Construction Kit (MediaMosa CK) is a useful tool for this purpose.
     
    MediaMosa Construction Kit (MediaMosa CK) is a Drupal 6 module. It was designed to support an easy interface for admin and end users too, that covers the MediaMosa main functionality eg. upload, play, transcode videos.
