First, everyone a happy new year!
2013 will be very important year for MediaMosa as the MediaMosa Foundation has been formed today! This will give a huge boost in the promotion and development of MediaMosa. But more on this later.
Our leading front-end application SiteBuilder has been updated to v1.1. We recommend to upgrade to this version as it does fix some minor bugs and includes the latest Drupal release. Although its not the big update we are working on for Q4.
In Q4 2012 we will be releasing major updates for SiteBuilder and MediaMosa, and for the very first time will include new big contributions from other sources. More details will be posted as soon as its comes available.
We are extremely happy to announce the MediaMosa Community that we've managed to gather all important parties in the Netherlands behind a MediaMosa Foundation. Both SURFnet and the Kennisnet Foundation have reached an agreement to start a MediaMosa Foundation.
Our goal is to have the MediaMosa Foundation established in September 2012.
Its been a while since the last update, but we expect this to be the last update before the release of version 3.5. This new version 3.2.2 has some minor fixes, but the biggest update is the upgrade to Drupal 7.14 (from 7.12). We recommend that you upgrade to this new version.
Although it seems this update for MediaMosa is not very big, it does have one important improvement. MediaMosa supports play restrictions (on asset level). This prevents play access to the assets mediafiles when trying to play a mediafile during certain predefined period (set on the asset). This update now also changes the access to the asset during asset search.
Version 3.2.0 is released, mainly a small bugfix release and has an upgrade to Drupal 7.12.
