Today Drupal released its first Release Candidate for Drupal 7. Yes, one step closer to the first stable release of MediaMosa v2. We have upgraded MediaMosa to Drupal-7.0-RC1 and therefor we present you with MediaMosa v2.2.7 Release Candidate 4 (build 1006).
Thanks to our growing MediaMosa community, a number of bugs where found in the previous MediaMosa 2 RC3 release. Also to our surprise, the migration script for 1.7.x migration to 2.x was broken in RC3. This has been fixed and should work now as expected. See the release notes for our complete changelog.
A upgrade path from RC3 to RC4 is available. Just visit the /update.php page on your RC4 installation for upgrading from RC3 database to RC4 database. However, we do recommend a clean install.
As on previous release candidates, we provide you with a tool to convert existing MediaMosa 1.7.x database to 2.2.x. If you are currently using 1.7.x on production servers, then we recommend to start testing 2.2.x and start converting your current installation on separate test environment to make sure you are prepared for the coming stable release.
Any bugs can be posted on our trac system on page http://mediamosa.org/madtrac/newticket. Revert to our forums for possible questions or other feedback.
